USDA Agriculture Census shares the data of north central Florida farms

The 2022 Census of Agriculture marks the 30th nationwide agricultural census and is the sixth one carried out by the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Previously, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of the Census was responsible for this agricultural census for 156 years, from 1840 to 1996. However, the 1997 Appropriations Act included a clause that shifted this responsibility to NASS.
